The Master of Styles Enrico Cassina enriches the Art Deco style by presenting a new collection of brass handles for doors and windows: the City Art Deco.

City because it comes from the aesthetics of urban verticality, inspired by the geometries of some of the major skyscrapers in the world, including the Empire State Building in New York.

The verticality and the suggestions related to the pure geometry of the typical Art Deco movement find in this new collections a full representation.

The thin frames that characterize the plate, handle and rosette, are harmoniously balanced and the overall volume of the object assumes a clear yet elegant connotation.

Technically this balance between geometry and lightness is the result of some advanced manufacturing technology. In particular, the connection between the angles is perfectly perpendicular also in spaces of a few millimeters. In this way the light is distributed uniformly and clearly.

To obtain perfectly orthogonal surfaces requires several techniques: a strong and noble material such as brass, hot forging which preserves the structural strength of the metal, diamond finishing (the same that is used for fine watches) that makes the surfaces perfectly reflecting.
